Description:
The Manager, Corporate Communications & Publicity will play a key role in managing day-to-day communications and publicity initiatives in alignment with the broader communications strategy, exercising independent judgment in media engagement and messaging. This individual will be responsible for PR initiatives, media engagement, and high-profile moments, while ensuring alignment with the broader communications strategy.
This role is a trusted partner in bringing communications strategies to life and elevating the organization's presence across sports, entertainment, and culture in Las Vegas.
Responsibilities:
Corporate Communications
• Lead and manage business PR efforts, including development of press releases, media pitches, and talking points
• Serve as a point of contact for media, independently managing relationships, inquiries, and responses
• Partner with senior leadership to support executive communications
Publicity & Celebrity Engagement
• Lead and manage publicity efforts tied to high-profile events and appearances
• Coordinate directly with agents, publicists, and partners to drive coverage opportunities
• Independently identify and pursue opportunities to maximize exposure within established strategies and priorities
Influencer & Media Integration
• Partner with marketing to develop and implement integrated influencer and media strategies tied to games and events
• Oversee execution of creator and media experiences at the ballpark
• Exercise judgment in identifying and turning on-site moments into earned media and social storytelling opportunities
Communications Support
• Translate high-level communications strategy into actionable plans and execution aligned with organizational priorities
• Manage timelines, priorities, and media engagement
• Track and analyze media coverage to provide insights to enhance ongoing communications efforts
• Operate as an experienced PR professional, managing communications campaigns and exercising sound judgment in media engagement, messaging, and response strategy within established organizational priorities
Qualifications/Requirements:
• 4–7 years of experience in public relations, communications, or publicity
• Strong writing skills and experience developing media materials
• Willing and able to work a non-traditional schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to execute quickly
• Comfortable working in a high-profile, fast-paced environment
• Experience in entertainment or talent exposure is a plus, not a requirement
