Paid Intern - Unscripted/Documentary Development

This is a Part Time Paid Internship

Asylum Films is looking for an unscripted development intern to assist our team in the research, development and casting process for new documentary and unscripted projects. This is a great opportunity to learn how a documentary TV show or film is developed, produced and sold. The right candidate will have a passion for documentaries and will want to develop skills in the areas of research, casting, and editing. In your cover letter, please indicate any experience in any of these skills, as well as what documentary/unscripted content you find interesting and are currently watching. $15/hr.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in the research process for potential projects
• Source and compile archival media for sizzle reels
• Assist in the sizzle editing process
• Assist in the creation of visual decks
• Attend development meetings
• Contribute to the creative development process

Requirements:
• Passion for independent producing & unscripted content
• Experience editing on Premiere or AVID
• Graphic design experience is not required but a plus
• Skilled in Google searching & research
• Entrepreneurial spirit & can do attitude

Dates: 6/1/22 - 8/15/22
3 days a week 4-6hrs/day (depending on your availability)
