Music Coordinator

ASPECT, the North Hollywood based motion picture marketing agency with a 40-year history servicing Hollywood's biggest projects, is looking for a solution-oriented problem solver with a resilient and positive can-do attitude to fill the role of Music Coordinator on our team. We view this as a growth position, and an opportunity for an entry-level candidate to have an immersive experience in our industry.

The Music Coordinator will report to the VP of Music. This position will interface with various departments within Aspect, as well as direct relations with our studio marketing clients.

Responsibilities
Create cue sheets for Theatrical, TV/Streaming, Home Entertainment, and Immersive Media (Video Games) projects.
Interfacing with studio clearance departments for delivery of cue sheets, music assets, and updating music library information.
Facilitate clearance requests by using research tools such as Source Audio, PRO repertoires, DISCO, and other sources.
Communicate clearance status updates, including usage guidelines, respective license fees and restrictions based on secured rights and other terms to creative teams accurately and in a timely manner.
Update music databases, help maintain our music servers, and overseeing music submissions from libraries, labels, publishers, and other sources.
Assist the VP of Music, Senior Music and Licensing Manager, and Music Supervisor with music creative and business aspects of projects.

Qualifications
Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience with cue sheets a HUGE plus.
Working knowledge or experience in the music/entertainment industry preferred.
Must have solid knowledge of synchronization, performance, and master rights.
Experience with Avid, Excel, and iTunes preferred.
Experience with DISCO is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal and management skills in a multi-tasking environment.
Works collaboratively and proactively with multiple teams.
Confident and motivated self-starter.

Compensation:

The base pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00 per hour (non-exempt). This is a full-time position and you will be eligible for overtime pay.
