Motion Designer - Digital

ABOUT THE ROLE

As part of the growing Aspect Digital team, the motion designer will work alongside our Art Directors to design a wide range of digital and social assets for entertainment and gaming clients such as Disney, HBOMax, Netflix, Prime Video, Sony Pictures, and Activision. We are looking for an ambitious designer with impeccable taste. Someone who understands the digital/social space, likes to mix different media, and obsesses over typography and layout.

Your daily responsibilities will include:
• Create visually stunning motion graphics for the digital space
• Edit short form videos for social media platforms such as Instagram & TikTok
• Participate in project ideation, pre-production, and production phases
• Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm ideas and concepts
• Be on top of the latest trends in design and pop culture
• Have a strategic design mind, deeply rooting all your work in research
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time and to a high standard

Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in motion design
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates expertise in motion design & basic editing
• An expert in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop & Illustrator)
• Experience working on digital assets for the entertainment or gaming industries
• Excellent communication skills & ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

A big plus if you have:
• Passion for / knowledge of 3D (Cinema 4D or Blender)
• Passion for / knowledge of basic AR (Spark, Effect House)
• Passion for / knowledge of working with audio / sound design
• Passion for / knowledge of grading

BENEFITS
The base pay range for this position is $45.00 -$55.00 per hour (non-exempt). This is a full-time position, eligible for overtime pay. The base pay offered will depend on several factors, including candidate's qualifications and relevant experience. Total compensation package will include paid time off, subsidized health insurance (medical, dental, vision) and 401(k).
We are working a hybrid schedule, currently 3 days in office in North Hollywood and 2 days WFH.
