The Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will play a critical role in the success of ASCAP's Accounting & Finance team.
You will be responsible for building and enhancing complex financial models, creating insightful and actionable reports and developing credible forward-looking financial projections.
Responsibilities
• Highlight key issues and provide resolutions for negative exposure items that could impact revenue and expenses in support of business needs
• Develop reports & PowerPoints for ASCAP leadership team focused on how we can drive efficiencies and identify and act on growth opportunities
• Build and enhance financial models and assist with annual planning, budgeting, and operational reporting
• Assist with forecasting for assigned revenue & cost centers
• Monitor financial management functions
• Review and analyze key financial metrics
• Assist with special projects as needed, including the implementation of any new financial planning tools and software
Qualifications
& Requirements
• Strong academics with a Bachelor's (or advanced) degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics (or another related subject)
• 3 - 5 years of related professional experience (e.g. as a Financial Analyst); ideally in a banking environment
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• High level of attention to detail, accuracy and ability to work under time constraints
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work and collaborate with multiple teams across different departments
• Hyperion, Oracle, Great Plains or other general ledger software experience preferred
