Work Location: Fully Remote
The ASCAP ASPIRE Internship Program is designed to provide students enrolled in historically black colleges and universities with a unique opportunity to gain experience working in the music industry through a paid internship. Selected interns can expect ASCAP to:
• Provide each program participant with the opportunity to work to deliver on ASCAP's mission in a department at ASCAP.
• Provide each program participant an opportunity to gain a broad understanding of how ASCAP is structured and how it operates as a mission-based organization.
ASCAP ASPIRE Interns will be assigned to one of the following departments:
• Marketing & Communications/Events Production
• Membership (Film & TV, R&S/Urban, Country, Pop/Rock, Symphonic/Concert and Latin)
• Data Strategy
• International Affairs
• Finance
• Licensing
• Global Technology Solutions
Requirements:
An ASCAP ASPIRE intern is:
• a student currently enrolled and in good standing at an HBCU â€'' rising sophomores, juniors and seniors and all majors are welcome;
• authorized to work in the United States;
• able to work 35 hours per week; and
• someone with a passion for music and supporting artists.

The anticipated hourly pay for this position is expected to be $17.00 unless the minimum wage rate is higher in the locality in which the intern will be working (in which case the higher applicable minimum wage rate will be paid).
