Job Description
Job Overview
The Licensing Department Budget Manager is responsible for the revenue and expense reporting for the department. They will serve as a liaison and central point of contact between the licensing department and the accounting/finance department.
They will also be responsible for administering the monthly sales manager variable pay process, reviewing for approval the expense reports from staff, processing invoices, expenses for the Nashville licensing office and providing reports to senior management at regular intervals.
Primary Responsibilities
• Providing monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports of departmental revenue and expenses, including details of each employee
• Verify and report variable pay monthly to accounting for payment
• Review for approval individual expense reports, ensuring items submitted for reimbursement meet company expense guidelines
• Provide management with budget information and assistance in preparing, tracking and maintaining the budgets for the department
• Maintain bookkeeping and support for small business unit (Jukebox License Office) as requested
Other Duties and Responsibilities
• Serve as Nashville Licensing Office Manager, which includes scheduling meeting rooms, ordering office supply orders for department, and initiating equipment maintenance and repair orders
• Serve as local point of contact and coordinator for vendors & delivery services
• Provide some limited administrative support to management in the Nashville office as needed
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Management preferred
• Experience managing budgets
• Highly analytical mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent mathematical aptitude
• Good problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication and exceptional interpersonal skills
• High level of attention to detail
