Job Description:
ASCAP is looking for an auditor to join its Broadcast Auditing team. This is a work from home position which requires 30% to 45% travel with some weekend stays. The auditor is responsible for scheduling and conducting audits of ASCAP licensees to ensure compliance with terms of licensing agreements. Audits produce additional revenue for distribution to ASCAP members. You will visit licensees, including radio stations, hotels and theme parks in all 50 states and some U.S. territories.
As an Auditor at ASCAP you will be responsible for…
• Conducting audits of licensees in accordance with departmental policies and guidelines.
• Performing pre-audit tasks and scheduling audit travel efficiently.
• Preparing audit workpapers, adjustments and reports completely and accurately, in a timely manner.
How do I know if I am qualified?
• Four-year accounting degree.
• Two to four years' experience in a public accounting firm or similar relevant experience.
• You are professional with excellent work habits and communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision. Time management skills and flexibility for travel are also required.
• Proficient in Excel.
