THE ROLE
The Artist Management & Operations Associate will work closely with the Manager, artists within the roster, and the broader management team to support the execution of the clients' vision and career goals. This role will provide day-to-day support across communication, scheduling, logistics, project coordination, and administrative operations.
They will own delegated responsibilities, proactively anticipate needs, and help keep key projects and priorities moving forward while serving as a trusted and reliable member of the management team. The role will also provide support across broader company projects and operations as needed, offering the opportunity to develop a well-rounded understanding of artist management and the organization.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a proactive and solutions-oriented approach, a solid understanding of basic business practices, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. This is a predominantly in-office position based in Beverly Hills. The role is Monday through Friday during standard business hours, with flexibility required to attend work-related shows, events, and other activities, including occasional evenings and weekends, as needed.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Manage daily artist calendars and logistics, using judgment to prioritize competing needs, resolve scheduling conflicts, and coordinate changes with the Manager;
• Maintain and organize data related to touring, merchandise, releases, and other ongoing activities, identifying notable changes, trends, and potential issues and communicating relevant findings to the Manager;
• Facilitate communication across the internal management team and external partners, including labels, using sound judgment and related experience to coordinate priorities, address issues, and keep projects and timelines moving forward;
• Coordinate release timelines, promotional schedules, and project deliverables, making informed decisions to organize priorities, identify potential gaps or delays, and coordinate information, assets, deadlines, and follow-ups with internal and external partners;
• Organize and maintain assets, records, trackers, and systems for ongoing projects, exercising discretion to ensure information is accurate, accessible, and up to date, and identifying opportunities to improve day-to-day workflows and processes.
• Take ownership of assigned projects and operational responsibilities from planning through execution, determining and managing priorities, address issues, and keep the Manager informed of progress and matters requiring attention;
• Assist the Manager with evaluating priorities, opportunities, and incoming requests by gathering relevant information, organizing materials, and providing support as needed;
• Provide administrative support to the CEO on select day-to-day needs and assist the GM with company-wide initiatives, including coordinating meetings, internal communications, and other shared organizational needs, as well as helping maintain company platforms, website, and digital presence;
• Attend and participate in company meetings, artist shows, events, and other business activities as needed, providing on-site support and representing the company professionally;
• Adapt to evolving priorities across the artist management business, independently managing assigned responsibilities, and adjusting workflows and priorities as needed while keeping the Manager informed of significant issues or changes.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• 2 to 3 years of experience in an assistant or coordination in the entertainment/music industry ideal
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can pivot quickly when priorities shift, with ability to work independently
• Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management tools + familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, etc.)
