ArtClass is a team of directors, producers, editors, writers, and designers. We are a multi-city production company that creates work ranging from commercials, to series and feature films.
We are looking for interns for our busy LA Production team, who have a genuine passion for being a part of a strong production cohort. This position is located in Los Angeles and will be in-office on a part-time basis.
Please note: This is a production-focused internship, with heavy emphasis on logistics, organization, and coordination. This is not a creatively focused position.
Approximate duration: June 1st - September 1, 2022
In this role you will:
Assist production executive assistants in everyday tasks such as maintaining calendars and taking messages
Order office supplies
Manage conference room schedule and set up conference rooms for meetings
File/organize current project documents and archiving old ones
Order lunch for the office staff
Go on runs for production supplies, refreshments, and equipment
Manage and stock offices, common areas, printers, and supply room
Assemble premium gift boxes for our agency partners and clients
Anticipate needs and provide administrative support as needed
We are excited about you because you are:
Qualifications
An intern with a minimum of 1 year of experience at an agency, management, or entertainment company or coursework in the film and media arts. Entertainment Industry experience is a requirement. Commercial production/advertising experience a plus.
A minimum 3.0 GPA from an accredited university
You have an interest in a career in commercial production and advertising
Self-directed, discreet, highly organized and able to balance competing priorities
Keen attention to detail, strong conflict-resolution, and decision-making skills
Able to work diligently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communicator with a charismatic personality
You have a car and a license to operate it in California
Candidates must be available to work a minimum of 15-20 hours a week
Hard skills that will go a long way: Google Suite (especially Sheets, Calendar, and Drive), Dropbox, Simian, Slack, Excel, Showbiz Budgeting, Keynote, Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, INDD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere)
