Intern, People and Culture
Term: February – October 2024
Wage: $16.00
Part-time/ Seasonal – Maximum 30 hours a week
Location: Chase Field/ Phoenix, AZ
Job Purpose:
The Arizona Diamondbacks are looking for an energetic and passionate student who is interested in Human Resources to assist and provide support to a range of HR initiatives. Initiatives can span across Benefits, Compensation, Data Management, Recruitment, and Onboarding.
Primary (Essential) Duties:
• Provide excellent customer service to Team Players (employees) both in person, over the phone, and through email.
• Assist with payroll and benefit administration.
• Administrative support such as record-keeping, file maintenance, data entry.
• Assist with planning and executing Team Player events such as Team Player only meetings and Wellness Fair.

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
• Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures such as Compensation, Benefit Administration, Recruiting, and Onboarding
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality is mandatory.
• Strong Communication skill both written and verbal.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task and still complete projects in a timely manner, often under tight and/or competing deadlines.
• Experience with UKG/UltiPro a plus
• Bilingual, English/Spanish a plus
Experience/Education Requirements:
• Must be a Junior or Senior pursuing bachelor's degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Business Degree or related field.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to:
• Lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
• Sit for long periods of time at a desk while working on a computer.
