This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
Intern, Member Marketplace & Events
The Intern, Member Marketplace & Events is responsible for assisting the Memberships Coordinator by performing support duties that will contribute to the overall sales and service operations. They will work closely with the entire Membership Experience department by maintaining a strong line of communication to accomplish goals and objectives, especially events and initiatives for our Advantage Members (Season Ticket Holders).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist in the planning and execution of events for our Advantage Members and sales prospects.
• Work as a liaison between other departments within the organization, specifically Marketing, Game Operations, Creative Services, and Event Services.
• Complete post-event recaps.
• Perform sales support duties, which include but are not limited to: order processing, order fulfillment, ticket distribution, sales collateral distribution, and distribution of Advantage Member benefits.
• Create and update content for the Member Marketplace as well as fulfill reservations.
• Support department's sales and retention efforts by performing customer-facing and/or non customer-facing duties as assigned.
• Game day responsibilities based on schedule of Membership Experience departmental activities.
• Assist with inventory control at Membership Headquarters.
• Help with the distribution and management of Special Event Items throughout the season.
• Other related duties as required.
Required Experience and Education:
• Must be a college junior or senior.
• Must commit to the duration of the Internship Program (February - October).
• Must be able to work in person at Chase Field for the duration of the season.
• Minimum of 20 hours per week, maximum of 30 hours per week.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Excellent relationship building and people skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external clients at all levels within the organization.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including experience with MS Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Committed to service excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Must be organized with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and meet deadlines.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Able and interested in supporting a team environment and adhering to the Membership Experience department's objectives, goals, and mandates.
• Available to work flexible hours including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
