This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
Intern, Marketing
Job Purpose
This position is responsible for assisting the Marketing department with promotional giveaways and events.
Intern Requirements
• Must be a senior or postgraduate student, or within one-year post-graduation with preferred majors of Data Analytics, Business, or another quantitative major, pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university. (If you do not meet the internship requirements, please do not apply.)
• Must be able to work in-person at Chase Field in Phoenix, AZ the entire duration of the internship, this is not a remote position.
• Maximum of 30 hours per week
Primary (Essential) Duties
• Assist with planning all marketing events including working with and coordinating details for community partners, guests, vendors.
• Execute and activate all marketing events.
• Coordinate all agreements and legal documents for events.
• Complete post-event recaps including sending photos and videos to guests.
• Work with internal departments to plan events and giveaway distributions.
• Fulfill employee giveaway distribution and all giveaway requests while managing giveaway inventory.
• Log department invoices and submit creative service requests.
• Assist in coordinating production of marketing signage and tracking projects.
• Assist with the D-backs Kids Club by managing inventory, responding to emails and helping with other tasks.
• Perform administrative duties and other responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities
• Strong interest in marketing
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer skills
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and initiative
• Must enjoy being involved in several projects with the ability to multi-task and handle a variety of responsibilities
• Must be organized with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and meet deadlines
• Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
• Ability to work game nights, weekends, and holidays as required
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Experience/Education Requirements
• Must be a college junior, senior, graduate student, or a recent graduate (less than 1 year after graduation).
• Must commit to the duration of the Internship Program (February - October).
• Must be able to work in person at Chase Field for the duration of the season.
• Minimum of 20 hours per week, maximum of 30 hours per week.
