This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
Intern, Hispanic Marketing & Events – Bilingual in Spanish Required
Job Purpose
This position is responsible for assisting the Marketing department with promotions, marketing events, and Hispanic marketing initiatives.
Primary (Essential) Duties
• Assist with planning and successful activation of marketing events by working with community partners, guests, vendors and coordinating event details
• Complete post-event recaps including sending photos and videos to guests
• Help with planning and execution of Hispanic marketing initiatives including Mexican Heritage Night, Hispanic Heritage Weekend and new opportunities
• Assist with Los D-backs Hispanic Council initiatives and ticket requests
• Assist with employee giveaway distribution and giveaway requests
• Log department invoices and submit creative service requests as needed
• Assist in coordinating production of marketing signage and tracking projects
• Perform administrative duties and other responsibilities as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities
• Bilingual in Spanish required
• Strong interest and knowledge in marketing
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer skills
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and initiative
• Must enjoy being involved in several projects with the ability to multi-task and handle a variety of responsibilities
• Must be organized with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and meet deadlines
• Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
• Ability to work game nights, weekends, and holidays as required
Experience/Education Requirements
• Must be a college junior, senior, graduate student, or a recent graduate (less than 1 year after graduation).
• Must commit to the duration of the Internship Program (February - October).
• Must be able to work in person at Chase Field for the duration of the season.
Minimum of 20 hours per week, maximum of 30 hours per week.
