Communications Gameday Assistant
The Arizona Diamondbacks are seeking a part-time seasonal Communications Gameday Assistant for the 2026 season. The main responsibilities in this role will be to operate and staff the media will call window, manage media credential distribution, field/batting practice pass distribution for VIPs and team guests and serve as media and guest support.
Individuals chosen for this position must be flexible/available to work most of D-backs' home games (between mid/late March thru September) and Postseason (if applicable), including afternoons, nights and/or weekends, adhering to the D-backs regular season schedule.
Primary Responsibilities
• Manage media credential distribution, including the production and distribution of media credentials, answering questions from media members, troubleshooting, etc.
• Distribution of field/batting practice passes, including the approval, printing and answering questions from batting practice guests.
• Represent the D-backs organization as communications liaison to media and VIPs/guests at Chase Field.
• Assist with escorting VIPs/guests to the field, as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested by the Communications staff.
Desired Qualifications
• Recent college graduate OR currently enrolled in an accredited College or University with a minimum sophomore level status, majoring in Public Relations, Communications, Sports Business or Sports Marketing.
• Knowledgeable in baseball terminology.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and customer service skills.
• Highly dependable, motivated and well organized.
• Excellent work ethic and ability to learn quickly.
• Fluency in Spanish is desired, but not required.
*This position will only work 2026 season during home games at Chase Field. This position will be paid hourly. Shift times will vary per homestand.
