The Publicity and Promotions Manager core responsibilities are:
• Developing effective and innovative PR plans in conjunction with the overall marketing strategy.
• Executing existing projects and be involved in pitching new projects. This entails research and development, drafting media pitches, press materials and distributing them regularly, etc.
• Pitching and securing editorial features in print, online, social media and broadcast media across the US, for both national and regional outlets.
• Coordinating and attending press junkets/ set visits, scheduling and overseeing press screenings, pitching and coordinating press coverage at premiers, covering talent interviews with broadcast, print and online media.
• Ideating out of the box PR stunts to create news opportunities for the films.
• Tracking media results and detailed preparing client reports.
• Assisting with budget creation.
• Networking with members of the media (print, TV, radio, online) and key influencers to ensure superlative coverage for all agency clients.
• Carrying out detailed market study of the industry, analyzing the latest market trends, tracking competitor activities and providing valuable inputs regarding the agency clients.
• Engage and train other department employees on the responsible and effective use of day to day activities.
