Part Time Unpaid Internship
Founded on October 7, 2021, Arden Records is home to the label roster of global household lofi artists (sagun, clay house, DAVI JUNO, French WiFi, Maono, pecna, Sleep Culture, slow-key, The Tea Shop, Trankilo, wrongnumber).
''Arden,'' meaning ''Great Forest,'' is a natural space for artists to stay connected, build each other up, and produce quality music together. The label was founded by sagun in collaboration with S+MGMT and Romantic Music Group. Building on their success in the lo-fi space, we want to amplify the nostalgic and subtle quality of lo-fi music. We aim to shift the paradigm of modern lo-fi labels by being the first and only artist-facing lo-fi label on the market.
The Candidate
We are looking for someone to become acquainted in the development phases of an up-and-coming label through a ''learn by doing'' mentality. Throughout the course of this internship, you can expect to learn about multiple facets of the music industry. You would become a jack -or- jill of all trades and gain experience in a vast variety of tasks, with opportunities for spearheading projects. Most importantly, you will aim to further the success of the Arden Records roster.
