WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Venue Operations & Event Management
• Establish and maintain high standards of customer service for staff, customers, and vendors
• Coordinate and facilitate event set-up, day-of activities, and load-in/out operations
• Advance shows with tour security directors and fulfill tour security requirements
• Perform and execute successful event settlements and timely Flash Reports
• Manage day-to-day operations of all venue vendors/subcontractors (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, cleaning, security, trash/recycling)
Financial Management
• Identify and maximize revenue drivers while optimizing guest and artist experience
• Manage overall concert expenses to maximize profits while protecting the guest and artist experience
• Forecast operational and production expenses, as well as ancillary revenue streams in ROME
• Meet staffing levels and budget targets for each event
• Oversee food and beverage and merchandise performance and strategies (point of sale ratio, variety, etc.)
Leadership & Strategy
• Hire, train, and schedule full and part-time employees; work closely with subcontractors and third-party vendors
• Collaborate with Marketing, Premium Seat Sales, Food and Beverage, and Sponsorship teams to create innovative offerings that drive revenue growth, engagement, and profitability
• Promote and establish rental events in the venue
• Work closely with Live Nation promoters and operations on standards and compliance
• Supervise exempt and non-exempt positions and monitor employee performance
• Implement and comply with company audit procedures and Health & Safety standards
• Work closely with civic governmental departments and community stakeholders
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a General Manager or Operations Manager in hospitality-related business
• Extensive background in event sales and promotion
• Proven track record of profitability analysis and budget management
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and compliance
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong problem-solving abilities for both long-term planning and immediate situations
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Revenue optimization and cost management expertise
• Team leadership and staff development capabilities
• Knowledge of food and beverage, and merchandise operations
• Customer service-oriented mindset
• Flexible schedule with the ability to be on-site for all events from load-in through load-out
