Aperture Films is an award-winning production company based in Irvine, CA and we are looking for an assistant editor / junior editor for a full-time position in our offices.
We are seeking a bright, dedicated, and hard-working person who has a passion for post-production with an emphasis on editing, and an interest to learn more about graphics and animation.
Specific Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro & Photoshop is essential, and a familiarity with After Effects is desirable as well. Knowledge of 3-D software such as Cinema 4-D, Maya or 3D Studio Max is a definite bonus!
Beyond technical knowledge, this individual needs to have a very solid sense of storytelling and creative skills to match, plus a great attitude. Most of our projects are non-fiction in nature (documentary), so an interest in history, natural history and educational media is a plus. In addition, our team produces a great deal of short films / PSA's in the advertising/outreach arena.
