We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Sr. Analyst, who has a genuine passion for being a part of our mission, to join the Corporate Development & Finance team. The Sr. Analyst is part of the small team at Anonymous Content responsible for financial planning, deal analysis, evaluation of strategic opportunities, and reporting. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure across the company's three main divisions: Studio, Representation, and Brand, working with senior management in an entrepreneurial environment. Successful candidates will be motivated self-starters with superior quantitative and analytical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and extensive financial modeling experience. This position is located in Los Angeles and will be remote until it is safe to return to the physical office.
In this role you will:
• Maintain and update corporate financial models, building GAAP and cash annual budgets, and performing monthly variance and re-
forecasts
• Work with colleagues across Studio, Representation, Brand, Business & Legal Affairs, and Accounting to create forecasts, track
performance, and communicate results
• Perform ad-hoc financial and industry related analyses to inform strategic decision-making
• Prepare individual television and film models / greenlight analysis to inform financial, production, and distribution decisions
• Work with management to evaluate KPIs; prepare dashboards and reports to track monthly variance analyses and performance of KPIs
• Support corporate development initiatives, such as evaluating new business opportunities and analyzing strategic M&A opportunities
• Help with the preparation of quarterly / annual financial review materials or presentations for management and Board of Directors
We are excited about you because you:
• Have 2+ years experience in corporate strategic planning or investment banking
• Possess and have demonstrated exceptional quantitative and analytical proficiency, including outstanding financial modeling capabilities
• Are a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with colleagues, management, and other
third parties
• Have excellent organizational and time management skills
• Are proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Adaptive and Intacct a plus
• Are knowledgeable in media & entertainment industry business models and accounting principles
• Have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA or JD is a plus
