Search for Assistant to the Co-Head of Media Rights jobs in New York-NY
We are looking for an experienced Assistant to the Co-Head of the Media Rights Department who has a genuine passion for being a part of our mission. This position is located in our New York office and may be asked to be in the office on a hybrid schedule (days in-office to be determined). This can be subject to change to the then-current Company policy.
In this role you will:
• Be the point of contact for all inbound and outbound aspects, including scheduling, note-taking, rolling calls, deal-tracking, maintaining expense reports, handling of payments and legal paperwork (i.e., contract signatures, maintaining databases and records, payment tracking etc.)
• Rely on sound judgment and knowledge of the business priorities to ensure relevant meetings are scheduled in a timely manner
• Read and write coverage on incoming book submissions and client work
• Handle complex scheduling on behalf of clients as well
• Submit client materials
• Beyond the administrative side, the position has opportunities for creative input and development.

• Are an experienced Assistant with 1-2 years of experience at an agency, management, or entertainment company
• Have an interest in a career in Media Rights and a desire to be proactive in pursuing relationships and opportunities for the department
• Have a genuine passion and interest for reading and analyzing material
• Are highly organized and able to balance competing priorities
• Have a keen attention to detail, and strong conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
• Have a proven ability to manage one's own time and prioritize tasks when given clearly defined goals and objectives
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exhibit strong time management skills. Possess the capability to be self-directed, but also maintain a friendly attitude with strong interpersonal skills
• Are genuinely curious about Media Rights and have a strong willingness to learn and ask questions
