Anker Productions is a documentary production company dedicated to creating films and television programs dealing with social and cultural issues. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented intern who is interested in gaining exposure and learning about documentary production. We are looking for an intern who is able to commit for 3 months.
Responsibilities include:
• General administrative support to documentary production team.
• Research assistance: fact-checking, archival research.
• Manage print and video trafficking for film festivals; maintain festival and screening database.
Qualifications:
• Strong interest in learning the ins and outs of running an independent documentary production office.
• Experience in thorough and detailed research.
• Previous experience in an office setting highly desired; ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Solid interpersonal communications skills and ability to respond to phone calls, e-mails and correspondence in a professional manner.
Must be a self-starter who possesses excellent communication skills, and is detail oriented. Candidate must be flexible, have a positive attitude and be able to work as a member of a team.
