Technical Partner Manager
Angel Studios
Provo, UTThis is a Full Time Job
Job Type
Full-time
Description
Who We Are
Role Purpose
You are a business athlete. Think product manager or technical consultant, translating between two companies instead of one - Angel's goals and your partner's - to spot connections nobody else sees and turn them into new opportunities.
Day to day, you'll be working with senior partner and technical leaders at major global platforms and device makers - deeply experienced people who expect a peer who can operate at their level. You own Angel's growth across your assigned partners, going deep to understand every lever available to drive it - external partner relationships, data analysis, customer experience and flow, product roadmap, marketing strategies, and app store listings.
Success will be defined by increasing Guild memberships, securing premium editorial placement across partner platforms, and delivering opportunities that expand awareness of Angel films and shows. This senior-level role will leverage relationships to identify and negotiate initiatives that drive technical integrations, brand activations, and co-marketing campaigns that improve the customer experience across TV and mobile devices. Working closely with internal teams, this role will turn partnerships into tangible results - more sign-ups, a better customer experience, more visibility for Angel titles, and more effective monetization across existing distribution channels.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities & Outcomes
• Serve as the main point of contact for partner escalations and growth strategy development and execution
• Lead technical integrations with partner platforms (e.g., single sign-on, deep linking, co-branded features) that improve user conversion and retention
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize partner performance - including incrementality testing and media mix modeling to isolate true partner-driven lift - identifying opportunities to upsell, expand, or refine existing agreements
• Increase Angel Guild memberships through targeted offers and bundled promotions with TV and mobile platforms
• Design and execute creative activations and sponsorships that drive awareness, trial, and retention of Angel content
• Secure editorial placement on partner homepages, featured carousels, and promotional surfaces
• Travel 10–15%
What You Bring
• 5-10 years of experience in technical partnerships, product/program management, or growth roles - preferably in streaming, digital media, mobile, or tech
• A track record of owning and achieving measurable outcomes against KPI-based targets
• Technical fluency to work with engineering and product teams to deliver integrations
• Marketing-literate, not marketing-expert: comfortable enough with marketing strategy and language to translate fluidly between technical, marketing, and business conversations - without needing to have run campaigns yourself
• Excellent emotional intelligence - communication, influence, and stakeholder management abilities
• A data-driven mindset and proficiency with analytics tools - curious about new ways to explore and apply data, able to self-serve data sourcing and analysis (including with AI assistance and SQL), and proactive about surfacing new data on your own
• MBA or equivalent experience preferred
• A broad business mindset - able to see around corners and anticipate what's next for the business
• A builder, with a track record of sourcing net-new opportunities, taking them from zero to one, and scaling them to drive significant impact
• Gets things done - equally comfortable presenting to the C-suite and rolling up your sleeves to execute with excellence
• High energy and an evangelist for the mission - genuinely passionate about Angel's story, able to build excitement around initiatives both internally and externally
• Resourceful and owns the outcome: you find the path to results on any device or platform, testing multiple approaches until something works, always within Angel's values
