Paid Intern - Film Marketing/Distribution

This is a Part Time Paid Internship

Screen Media Ventures is seeking interns for Spring 2022 for the Marketing/Distribution department.

About the Internship
This is a very hands-on internship in a busy independent studio environment. It's a wonderful opportunity to help shape the marketing strategy for upcoming releases and contribute to building the upcoming slate. You get to make an actual impact. Our interns will work with the entire distribution team, primarily with the marketing team.

Interns will be responsible for:
- Researching current film industry trends and news
- Assisting with social media campaigns for upcoming film releases
- Copy editing marketing materials and copywriting (synopses, descriptions, etc.)
- Working on market research and grassroots outreach for film releases
- Other marketing projects, as needed
- Occasional administrative tasks (phones, mailings, etc.)

Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of all types of movies including current independent films is required
- Organized, communicative and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Photoshop and general Adobe Suite experience is a plus

Details
We would prefer that our interns are available for 2 days per week during business hours (M-F 10am to 5pm).

This is a paid internship.
