Social Media Intern (Part-Time)
An 11:11 Experience, a busy production company working in film and theatre with offices in West Hollywood, is currently accepting intern candidates for Spring 2019. An 11:11 Experience has current projects including the feature documentary American Street Kid , the hit play Famous, the feature film #WhenTodayEnds, and writer/director Michael Leoni's book ''Dare to be Bad.'' Multiple other projects are also in development.
We are looking for a Social Media Intern for Famous the Play to assist in all aspects of the play's social media marketing. The intern will work on the Famous social media channels and online listings.
The ideal applicant will possess strong knowledge of the digital media landscape, including various social media sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and posting on social networks, engaging in online forums, participating in online outreach and promotion.
Social Media Intern responsibilities:
Work with the on-site Social Media Manager to create and implement campaigns
Develop content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis for Famous the Play
Monitor analytics with social media team to identify viable ideas
Create engaging social media content for Facebook, Twitter & Instagram - @famoustheplay
Engage with followers, influenceners, industry accounts
Provide support to our marketing team at live and online events
All internships are part-time positions that start immediately and run thru Summer 2019 (start and end date negotiable). Interns are valued members of the 11:11 team and will gain extensive hands-on experience working alongside producers, directors, designers and marketing professionals.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with a production company or in the Entertainment industry, but not required. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Proficient in Hootsuite, Facebook Ad Manager an asset. When responding, please note any additional skill sets ie: Adobe Creative Suite. Must have own laptop.
Candidate should be available a minimum of 15-20 hours per week. Dates and schedule are flexible. If seeking college credit, 11:11 Experience is happy to fill out the necessary forms.
