Amuse Group USA, the US operations of a leading Japanese entertainment company (BABYMETAL, ONE OK ROCK, Perfume) is seeking motivated interns for the film and TV department at its Los Angeles office.
The company annually holds the breakthrough Japanese content matching project, J-CREATION: A FIRST LOOK SHOWCASE, uniting Japanese IP and Hollywood producers and talent in their shared mission to adapt English language films and TV series. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes to gain experience in development and the global entertainment industry.
Responsibilities include evaluating and analyzing IP, writing script coverage, conducting research, answering phones, greeting guests, and helping other departments (music, talent, admin) as necessary.
Ideal candidates will exhibit a passion for story development, strong written and verbal skills, a ''no task too small'' attitude, and a genuine interest in film and TV. People who have knowledge of and interest in Japanese media/pop culture is a plus, but Japanese language skills are not required.
Interns must be available at least 2 days a week (please note which days you are available). For college credit only. Lunch/parking provided.
