This is a Full Time Job
It's an exciting time to join Marketplace. We are an industry leader in telling meaningful and creative stories on the radio with close to 13 million listeners, and we're evolving into a multi-media enterprise centered around the ambition of raising the economic intelligence of all Americans. Marketplace is an ambitious shop, fueled by ambitious ideas. This is a place of creativity and unorthodox thinking. We don't take ourselves too seriously, even though we understand the critical importance of people understanding how the economy shapes the world around us.
We are looking for a strong editorial leader to take the reins of the Marketplace Morning Report and Marketplace Tech and create dynamic franchises and coverage plans that will redefine these long-standing assets. This role pushes the boundaries beyond the productions to deliver storytelling, financial journalism, and engagement across our other broadcast and digital platforms.
Our mission is to raise the economic intelligence of the country and that means we make news about business and the economy easily understandable for everyone. Storytelling and diversity power this mission. We do so through clear writing, creative production, inclusive sourcing, and story selection.
