The American Alchemy Podcast is hiring experienced video editors to create high-impact kinetic teaser trailers that start each episode. This role is for someone who can turn powerful interview moments into a fast-paced, cinematic trailer that hooks viewers immediately. They should have a real editorial eye, not just the ability to assemble footage.
Ideal Candidate:
• Experienced with cinematic trailer editing
• Strong instincts for pacing, rhythm, and storytelling
• Comfortable blending interview clips, graphics, and visual elements
• Reliable and fast with deadlines
• Bonus points if you are genuinely interested in the topics American Alchemy discusses
Responsibilities:
• Edit 1–2 minute teaser trailers
• Select compelling interview sound bites
• Integrate motion graphics, titles, and visual effects
• Add B-roll and AI-generated B-roll
• Incorporate music and sound design for maximum impact
• Deliver a polished teaser optimized for online release
Required Skills:
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Strong experience editing kinetic-style teaser trailers
• Ability to build tension and narrative from interview clips
• Experience working with graphics, B-roll, and sound design
Project Details:
• Remote work
