As manager in the AMCN Content Management area, this position is actively involved in the management, tracking and rights assessment process of all program content for AMCN businesses including AMC, WEtv, Sundance Channel, IFC, Sundance/WEtv Global and other new network businesses as developed. Manages the tracking and exploitation of contractual rights information including; license periods, premiere dates of programming, run counts, exhibition guidelines and ancillary rights as well as provides accurate reporting and inventory management. The position is responsible for contract review and supervising and maintaining the program inventory database.
OPERATIONAL ACTIVITIES OF THIS POSITION
1) Supervise the process and workflow of Contractual Rights tracking of all Rights Out Agreements across all businesses. Manage the input of data in to the Rights Management system working closely in conjunction with Director to correct interpretation. Confirm that all deals are accounted for and tracked per the company's guidelines.
2) Supervise the process and accurate tracking of the contractual process from deal memo to contract execution in order to comply with corporate contractual policy.
3) Manage the process and development of monthly Availability reporting across all businesses. Manage the creation and submission of those reports to the appropriate personnel.
4) Review and verify Rights Clearance report in Program database to ensure the availability of programming is accurate.
5) Assist in the monthly and/or quarterly analysis of all programming obligations including but not limited to third party participations, editing restrictions, daypart limitations, guild issues etc. and report information to appropriate parties.
6) Manage the activities related to the on-going maintenance and continued improvement of the network(s) Programming database(s).
7) Work closely with Manager Program Finance to ensure that all rights in and rights out contract information has been entered in a timely fashion so Producer participation reports can be processed.
8) Liaison with network(s) sales group to respond to any requests made.
9) Other projects as assigned.

Financial metrics: Programming Expense and cash flow of annual budget for each business
Operating metrics: Major Program measures achieved as defined in the annual operating plan of each business.

Centralized scheduling system for inventory reporting and analysis

2) Technical/Functional Competencies
a) Knowledge/industry experience in cable television programming
b) Proficient with Excel and working knowledge of relational database information system
c) Highly developed analytical skills
d) Good knowledge of inventory management and contract review
e) Good understanding of programming Agreements and associated rights
3) Key Experiences/Achievements
a) BA required
b) 5+ years in Program Inventory and/or Contract Management
c) Entertainment industry experience
