Assistant - Finance Department

This is a Full Time Job

Amblin Partners, located in Universal City, is currently seeking an Assistant in the Finance Department.
Ideal candidates will have 1 year experience working in the entertainment industry in a support role. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the inner workings of a major studio and work cross-functionally with departments across the company. Preference will be given to candidates interested in a long-term career within finance and accounting. This is not a creative position and candidates should be aware that it will not lead to one.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
Managing a busy calendar and phone
Extensive data entry
Assisting with day-to-day activities associated with the finance department
Maintaining office and supplies
High-volume of filing, organizing, storing, and retrieving documents
Distributing mail and packages
Assisting with special projects
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat required.
