As a Sr. Program Manager, you will be responsible for defining and supporting programs that empower our video-on-demand (VOD) services. This will require you to work with post-houses, internal quality teams, engineering, product, as well as engaging with video providers worldwide, ranging from large studios such as Walt Disney Studios and Warner Bros to independent filmmakers. You will work with external partners on new onboardings and new product adoption programs. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, product management, design, operations, finance, legal, business development, customer service, content acquisition, operations, and executive teams to launch/support products to market, develop and grow business opportunities, and enhance our customer experience for video providers around the world. You will become the subject matter expert on how to work with Prime Video for VOD and offer your content to millions of customers worldwide.
A successful candidate will be able to articulate and drive a strategic vision, work cross-functionally across key stakeholders, and partner with dedicated product teams to deliver scalable solutions that grow selection for Amazon Video customers. He or she will have a consistent track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. This leader must have strong written and verbal communications skills, as well as an entrepreneurial spirit, the ability to influence others, passion for digital video, and strong cross-functional leadership.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 6 years of experience operating, managing, and delivering results in a consumer facing online retail/services/platform product management role
• 5 years working with external partners to drive results
• Proven success in delivering online products and services in a high growth environment
• Experience working directly with product teams
• Bachelor's degree required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with digital video products and/or technologies
• Global experience (program launches in multiple geographies simultaneously
