The Amazon Music Artist and Label Products and Services team is focused on building a personalized, curated, and seamless experiences aimed at bringing artists and their fans closer together. We want to offer new experiences to our customers that build stronger connections to their favorite artists. We build features spanning our music apps, web player, and voice-forward audio engagement on mobile and Amazon Echo devices, powered by Alexa to support our customer base. Amazon Music offerings are available in countries around the world, and our applications support our mission of delivering music to customers in new and exciting ways that enhance their day-to-day lives.
As a Software Development Manager you will lead a team of software engineers to deliver experiences directly to customers of Amazon Music in our mobile, web and voice applications. You will collaborate with partner backend service teams, product managers and technical program managers to set the goals and roadmap for your team. You will build, mentor and develop your team and work with them to achieve their career goals.
Qualifications
• 7 years of relevant engineering experience
• 3 years of people management experience, managing engineers
• Experience in partnering with product and program management teams
• 3 years of software development experience building complex applications for mobile platforms
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or closely related field
• Experience in building scalable systems based on web services
