Head Of Performance Marketing, Prime Video
We are seeking a talented leader to lead and grow the Performance Marketing team comprising media managers and analysts to drive growth of our Prime Video business. You will drive the overall Prime Video Performance Marketing Strategy with an overall objective to maximize and optimize our marketing and media investments in a programmatic way to drive brand equity, engagement and subscriber acquisition.
You will partner with Global Media Strategy and Planning teams, Brand Marketing and Creative teams as well as Marketing Science and Measurement teams. Additionally, you will work closely with centralized Amazon teams who focus on developing automated, cross line of business solutions for your needs. You should have a passion to dive deep, strong project management skills, a high level of customer focus, and a track record in transforming marketing performance data into digestible, actionable insights. You are a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and energizing environment.
Reporting to the Global Head of Marketing Strategy, you will drive the overall performance marketing vision including goal-setting, strategic development, execution, and optimization with the north-star goal of driving customer acquisition, efficiently and at scale. Utilizing an existing tool set including biddable media channels such as digital display, digital video, social, and mobile, this leader will also be expected to raise the bar and expand our opportunities into new channels and ad tech opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and manage a team of media managers and analysts to optimize Prime Video's marketing effectiveness and efficiency through programmatic, biddable media, measurement insights, experimentation, and data-driven solutions
• Provide comprehensive analysis of performance marketing campaigns and experiments, and make actionable recommendations in digestible form to senior leadership
• Develop hypotheses that will positively impact the business and design experiments to validate them
• Coordinate with marketers to drive execution of marketing experiments and campaign / channel holdouts
• Partner with scientists and engineers to develop and implement forecasting and targeting models
• Evaluate, engage and manage external partners/vendors
Qualifications
• 10 years of professional non-internship marketing experience
• 5 years of experience directly managing others
• Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
• Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
• Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
• Experience directly managing teams
• Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
• 8 years of programmatic media and marketing experience
• Experience with managing large cross-functional projects
• Understanding of marketing measurement methodologies (econometric modeling, brand uplift studies, etc.), causal inference, and experiment design and analysis
• Experience with and understanding of marketing concepts and practices
• Depth of knowledge within media measurement frameworks and technology
