Prime Video is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented Senior Marketing Lead with a passion for developing high impact marketing and franchise campaigns that reach millions of customers globally. You will be responsible for executing consumer campaigns on- and off-Amazon that build awareness for and deeper engagement with Prime Video's series and movies within the Fantasy/Sci-Fi genre. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, find ways to innovate on legacy practices, and create operational efficiencies across key marketing functions.
As a leader, you will own the development of integrated communication plans and creative advertising to launch and sustain engagement for Amazon Originals, and guide cross functional teams to develop best-in-class integrated programs that drive awareness, conversation and viewership. In addition to launch-based marketing plans, you will develop long-term franchise sustainment roadmaps to keep fans engaged on multiple platforms, such as: music, publishing, digital media, live events, interactive experiences and consumer products.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record for driving results for global campaigns, including working autonomously to set roadmaps, goals, and have substantial experience working with executive producers and industry partners. You must possess a blended balance of strategist, brand builder, project manager, creative visionary and franchise manager.
Critical to success will be relationship building and an ability to coordinate campaign roll-outs on a global scale. In addition to driving PV's more complex title strategies, you may oversee/manage other marketing managers, with responsibility for the successful launch of those titles.
Responsibilities:
• Lead overall global strategy for consumer marketing for Prime Video series and movies, including creation of goals, approach, positioning, brand management, creative development, cross-functional franchise planning, and overall communication and engagement strategy
• Create operational efficiencies within the fantasy/sci-fi genre to streamline communication, reduce asset development timelines and maintain fiscal responsibility
• Drive 360- campaign planning in the US across all channels (e.g. social, digital, Amazon owned channels, TV, in-theater, print, out-of-home and PR)
• Develop innovative franchise plans to keep audiences engaged during gaps in creative content releases
• Oversee creative development; provide creative direction and feedback to agency teams to ensure all elements are on brand and aligns with campaign and brand strategy
• Oversee and direct other marketing managers who will support and lead on certain titles, while maintaining accountability for those titles' success
• Work collaboratively with various international teams and stakeholders to ensure overall global success
• Align closely with research teams to lead priority consumer insight studies and track the customer journey
• Create and own goals and performance metrics for campaigns; monitor regularly to understand effectiveness of strategy and creative, making recommendations for continuous improvement
• Identify assets needed for each campaign/initiative and communicate to relevant team(s) in a timely manner for on-time delivery and launch
• Act as a leader and ''catalyst'' who inspires others to deliver bar-raising, best in class ideas and plans at a global scale, eliminating barriers that may work against this
• Bring big ideas to the table, obtain buy-in and effectively and efficiently implement ideas at scale
• Measure outputs against internal and external measures and deliver continuous improvement
• Oversee project budgets and work with team to track and forecast
• Present to senior leadership regularly to update on key metrics and progress to goals; set mechanisms to operationalize timely global status updates for titles
• Cultivate positive relationships with appropriate agencies, companies, talent, executive producers, external studios and other relevant global stakeholders to forward our position
Qualifications
• 9 years of professional non-internship marketing experience
• Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
• Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
• Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
• Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
• Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
