Asset Manager, IMDb TV
IMDb TV is shaping the future of digital video entertainment. Our mission is to build earth's most customer-centric ad supported premium free video service and make it trivially easy for customers to enjoy. To help us achieve this vision, we are looking for a highly detail oriented Digital Asset Manager to join the team to manage the coordination and organization of photography and video assets for IMDb TV.
As our Digital Asset Manager, you will own QC and delivery of all marketing assets to both internal and external partners. The ideal candidate brings scalable approaches and has a deep understanding of digital media. This candidate is versed in digital file formats and has experience managing photography and creative libraries within the entertainment space. He or she must be highly organized with a passion for marketing, photography, and cinematic content. The assets you will work with are the foundational content that our Original Series and Marketing campaigns are built on.
Working closely with Campaign Managers, Launch Managers, Creatives, external agencies, and partner studios – you will be immersed into the day to day operations ensuring all show and brand assets get prepped and posted properly. With an opportunity to learn the full life cycle of an asset, you will help develop effective strategies for efficient sharing. You will also maintain the metadata model and taxonomy leveraged across Original Series helping to maintain standardization across IMDb TV and Prime Video. You will also act as a champion and administrator for the in-house digital asset management system. Supporting teams across Los Angeles, Seattle, and Costa Rica, you will become a pivotal part in defining the strategies for scaling asset delivery to all partners.
You will work within a creative pod structure, which includes a Brand Manager, Creative Director, Social Manager, Social Producer and A/V producer. This role will report directly to the Sr. Asset Manager, supporting IMDb TV initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
• Work closely with creative and campaign managers ensuring asset management requirements are in place before campaign development begins.
• On-board external creative agencies on how to properly file name and deliver all creative assets.
• Create sharing folders and permissions for creative collaboration during WIP phase.
• Receive and QC all final assets ensuring each asset is built to specifications, branding is correct, and proper file naming and metadata have been inputted.
• Manage the ingest and curation of final assets into DAM.
• Manage all access points during offboarding for both internal and external users of WIP and DAM solutions.
• Communicate to customers when assets are available, downloaded assets have been revised, and assets are no longer available for use.
• Maintain standardization and nomenclature for the classification of assets for all marketing tools.
• Evaluate metadata model regularly for adjustments and additions as business evolves.
• Coordinate with other Asset Managers to ensure synchronicity across pods.
• Create and manage asset creation reports, and communicate progress across project teams and stakeholders.
• Download creative materials from external and partner portals; send requests and creative approvals to and from studio partners when applicable.
• Manage creative delivery and act as the gatekeeper of high quality creative.
• Coordinate all studio asset activities- from studio communications and acquisition to file naming, categorizing and archiving.
Qualifications
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders
• Experience working at or with a creative or advertising agency, network, streaming service, or studio
• Understanding of the workflow within a marketing, production, or creative department or company
• 3 years of creative services experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience administering DAM
• Experience with metadata input, organizing a large amount of files, hi-res file transmissions (FTP, servers, etc.), file naming conventions and database reporting.
