The Amazon Studios team is chartered to produce original content and license studio programs worldwide in service of Amazon's Prime Video customers. The team is responsible for bringing popular TV and movies to their customers and introducing distinctive, critically-claimed award-winning originals like Transparent and Mozart in the Jungle and ground-breaking, popular shows like The Man in the High Castle.
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager for our Product & Technology (P&T) group. Some responsibilities include:
• Manage a release process to test, validate and implement new applications and updates to existing applications for key business groups
• Work with various functions and end users to identify, document, and communicate standard business processes
• Proactively identify and implement operational improvements, enhancements, and system customizations that meet business requirements
Seek out ways to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace
Qualifications
• Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
• 5 years of relevant engineering experience
• 2 years of technical program management experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field;
3 years professional experience; OR
Equivalent experience
Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
Experience on project management with knowledge of technical processes, agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban) and management tools (JIRA)
Handles multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong organization skills
Highly innovative, flexible and self-directed
Results-oriented person with a delivery focus
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills
