Prime members also have access to a collection of Amazon Original series for kids such as Gortimer Gibbon's Life on Normal Street, Wishenpoof, Just Add Magic, and the Annecy, Annie, and multi-Emmy Award-winning Tumble Leaf. Amazon Studios' first original movie, Spike Lee's Chi-Raq, premiered in theatres in 2015, with more coming soon.

Amazon Studios is looking for a Senior Product Manager to support the Head of Marketing for original program marketing. We are looking for a driven and talented technical and business-oriented Product Manager for all things marketing within Amazon Video platform. If you have experience and a record of success in developing customer facing marketing programs, a deep understanding of digital media and the entertainment business, this could be the job for you. This role will involve a wide scope of projects that will involve extensive research, analysis, data interpretation, writing and project management. This individual will be based in Santa Monica.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Gather data, formulate insights, and articulate both verbally and in writing the opportunities and issues that impact the bottom line of the business
• Ability to think analytically and creatively to arrive at solutions and strategies that help to propel our business.
• Ability to manage a wide variety of project types that vary in scale and scope.
• Possess the ability to manage short-term and long-term projects alike; with an ability to dive deep to surface any and all issues that allow us to gather insights, solve problems and further our business.
• Collaborate and work across multiple teams and departments within Amazon, Amazon Studios, our agencies and partners.
• Nimble, resourceful, accurate and thorough in gathering and interpreting data.
• Monitor and analyze key marketing metrics (CPP, CPM, etc.) and campaign performance.
• Ensure that project milestones are met according to commitments.
• Conduct competitive research and analysis.
• Evaluate and improve content management workflows
• Ability to create and lead projects and their initiatives; ownership of one's work is key to success
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
• You possess a deep understanding of entertainment marketing and the various functional aspects of a marketing organization.
• Able to synthesize information and formulate synopsizes, identify issues, and propose solutions in written documentation is a vital component to the job.
• A deep understanding of the marketing organization including: brand management, strategic planning, media, merchandising, creative development, research, testing and measurement.
• You must be resourceful and thrive both in independent and collaborative work environments.
• Incredibly detail oriented.
• Positive can-do attitude with strong initiative and follow through.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and excel in a lean work environment.
• Strong in both written and verbal communication.
• Bachelor's degree is required in business, English, marketing, finance, or related fields.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA Preferred.
• Relevant marketing experience within entertainment or original entertainment properties.
• Willingness to work hard and roll up sleeves to get work done, even when at times it is outside the scope of the job.
• Previous experience at a media start-up or must possess start-up mentality.
• Working knowledge of project management tools.
