The Prime Video Marketing & CX team comprises individuals who are all obsessively focused on one mission: to give consumers the world's best-in-class digital video customer experience. We are seeking a talented Senior Marketing Manager to oversee Prime Video's outbound marketing program (email and push notification) from campaign strategy and creative briefs to A-B testing and insights. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an incredibly fast-growing solution business.
This role requires working across a large organization. They will partner with launch marketing, product marketing, and creative to design an effective outbound strategy, and also collaborate with outbound product and program managers to come up with new ideas to enhance the automated engagement product strategy. The ideal candidate will have previous email marketing experience, good judgement for CX, and not be afraid to operationally execute email and push campaigns (and standardize operations for an offshore team). The successful candidate will be customer obsessed, creative, innovative, adept at relationship-building and an effective project manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
This role is responsible for the US Prime Video outbound marketing channels, inclusive of customer email and push notifications. In this role, the candidate will:
• Own creating outbound strategy for US customers and executing outbound programs to support Prime Video content launches, seasonal events, and lifecycle marketing initiatives.
• Manage the end to end email campaign creation, from identifying audience targeting and segmentation, working with creative on design and messaging, to program planning and reporting.
• Become a domain expert in outbound channels by diving deep to understand Amazon's outbound products (Sonar, Bullseye, etc.) and testing tools (Weblab, APT).
• Analyze outbound program and campaign performance and optimize the outbound channel overtime.
Qualifications
• 6 years of professional non-internship marketing experience
• Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
• Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
• Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
• Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or relevant field of study
• 5 years of experience in program, change management, or project management within a fast-paced metrics driven environment
• 5 years of experience in consumer marketing, demand generation in high-technology companies
• Experience in managing large global marketing programs appropriate for their goals
