This is a Full Time Job
The ideal candidate has extensive experience as a producer or buyer/commissioner in both development & current, along with a deep knowledge of the creative and business issues in bringing programs from idea to launch. This candidate must have proven creative experience in selecting, developing, producing, as well as strong interpersonal skills and deep industry relationships. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience managing a creative team and the ability to think strategically across the business. This candidate must have the ability to drive the development and current process across multiple projects.
Key job responsibilities
Manage relationships with creators, directors, producers, production companies, artist representatives and creative community.
Exercises excellent creative and business judgement, especially in spotting the potential in ideas.
Understand the nuts and bolts of production and participate in all aspects of pre, production, and post from budget and casting to production issues in the field from to final delivery.
Manage and supervise post-production/editing of content to ensure quality of finished product meets Amazon's quality and creative standards. With an emphasis on excellent storytelling skills.
Liaise with other departments including Marketing, Publicity, Research, Digital, Social and Business and Legal Affairs and the PV Programming team.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 8 years as a Creative Executive or Senior Producer in Unscripted TV development/production at a production company, network, or studio, with development or current programming experience across various genres (dating, competition, docu-follow, etc.)
• Track record of successful storytelling/ development as an independent contractor, at a studio, or at a customer-facing media company
• Strong written and oral communication skills across all levels in an organization (technical, business, executive)
• Experience working with diverse partners from executives to content creators
