Full Time Job
We are seeking an experienced Production Coordinator to aid the Unscripted & Live Events Production teams in managing the production and delivery of their assigned projects. The successful candidate will possess the capability to complete high volumes of complex tasks and projects quickly in a professional manner. The candidate should have experienced dealing with internal and external shareholders in order to react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround. The role requires a skillset to efficiently and creatively solve difficult or complex problems that affect people within the business. You will also be detail oriented with superlative organization skills, as well as the ability to switch gears at a moment's notice. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is key. This is a growth opportunity for those passionate about physical production and becoming Production Managers.
Responsibilities
• Aid unscripted projects in all areas from development to production and post-production
• Work with post-production to insure delivery of all required assets.
• Coordinate show status between internal departments such as creative, marketing, press, business affairs, legal, finance, and tax
• Build and maintain location specific production guidelines and procedures
• Compile, distribute, and store production documents (e.g., contracts, call sheets, calendars, reports and schedules) on the studio network
• Coordinate kick-off calls with vendors and proper studio departments for each individual project
• Maintain relationships with vendors and show level counterparts
• Assist production teams with meeting requests and travel arrangements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 2 years of on-set experience as an Assistant Office Production Coordinator or 2 years of experience in an executive/administrative assistant position
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with delivery of assets to studio
• Strong understanding of the production process
• Passion for attention to detail
• High levels of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Web-savvy: familiar with online video environment
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and handle multiple projects at once
• Understanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly
• Positive can-do attitude with strong initiative and follow through
• Willingness to continue learning to ensure understanding of current production process
