Asset Manager (Amazon Studios)
Amazon Studios is seeking a photo editor with entertainment experience for an asset management role. This person must be well organized, self-motivated and possess excellent communication skills. They will be managing a high volume of photography as well as other 2D digital creative assets. They will be an integral part of the studios biggest shows. The Asset Manager will report into the Franchise Creative Manager and work directly with the Marketing, Social Media, and PR teams as well as other ancillary business units to facilitate their asset needs.
Scope of Responsibility:
This role requires an outstanding commitment to quality control while editing a high-volume of digital photography. The candidate must be comfortable managing and streamlining a complex workflow for gathering and distributing photography and other digital assets. They will work diligently to deliver on requests from internal creative departments, create key sets and contact sheets for internal business units and assist in facilitating retouching requests and delivery of final assets.
Candidate will work with the senior staff and project leads of our internal marketing and publicity teams to schedule and produce special content capture on sets around the world. A willingness to work efficiently across various time zones is a must.
The ability to communicate and collaborate, both written and verbally, is essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• 5 years experience editing and selecting photography
• 5 years experience of Adobe Creative Suite and image management software
• Understand the entertainment industry, photo production, and digital asset management workflow
• Ability to handle a high volume of requests from multiple people while managing department priorities
