Product Designer, Amazon Music Product Design
As a UX Designer on this team, you will support and work alongside other product designers across the full spectrum of the UX design process from discovery and research to concept development, wireframes, and high-fidelity mocks spanning multiple platforms. In collaboration with business leaders, engineers, product managers, and other UX and visual designers, you will work from defined requirements to pressure test ideas through tactical visual execution. To be successful you must be a critical, inventive thinker with clear design chops, an excitement for understanding and using data, and an ability to communicate your ideas effectively. Being a big music fan would be a big plus.
Key job responsibilities
• Leverage templates to create process flows, conceptual diagrams, wireframes, and mockups to effectively communicate high-level design strategies.
• Quickly iterative on user flows, wireframes, high fidelity mockups, prototypes, and visual design specifications with Design, Product, and Engineering teams, as well as business stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Incorporate customer feedback, technical constraints, and usability findings into design.
• Develop and nurture relationships across teams and disciplines to promote collaboration and efficiency.
• Provide feedback and contribute to a central design system.
• Be resourceful and creative to overcome obstacles and turn challenges into opportunities.
A day in the life
In this role, a UX Designer will work closely with design, product, research, engineering, and other teams across Amazon Music to iterate on existing experiences and deliver new features that delight customers.
Qualifications
• 2 years of design experience
• Have an available online portfolio
• Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar
