Sr. Affiliate Marketing Manager, Amazon Music
We are hiring an experienced Sr. Affiliate Marketing Manager to join our Amazon Music team to drive WW customer acquisition. You will define, execute, and measure Affiliate marketing from strategy to execution to drive scalable growth for the business. This marketing leader will be passionate about measuring ROI, as well as a thinking big to develop capabilities to optimize. This person will build highly impactful acquisition campaigns and test into white space opportunities. An entrepreneurial spirit, a creative mindset for pushing boundaries, and the ability to work effectively with a large number of partners and international stakeholders are some of the key skills we are looking for.
Key job responsibilities
• Develop and execute the affiliate marketing strategy to acquire new Amazon Music subscribers and users through partnerships
• Identify, recruit, and onboard high-performing affiliate partners that align with the Amazon Music brand and customer base
• Negotiate and manage affiliate program terms, commission structures, and campaigns with partners
• Monitor affiliate program performance and optimize campaigns to maximize subscriber/user acquisition
• Create compelling affiliate marketing assets, promotional materials, and toolkits to enable partners to effectively promote Amazon Music
• Stay up-to-date on affiliate marketing best practices, tools, and industry developments
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams such as Marketing Analytics, Product, Finance, Engineering, and Growth to drive best practices, identify testing opportunities and develop roadmaps
• Audit and update existing data pipelines in collaboration with the Business Intelligence and Tech teams to ensure the highest level of data quality.
• Derive critical insights from data (front-end performance metrics from affiliate partners and back-end Amazon actions) and synthesize recommendations to deliver improvements to campaign performance.
• Partner with strategic cross-functional teams to support GTM plans for upcoming product and marketplace launches
Qualifications
• 6 years of professional non-internship marketing experience
• 6 years of experience in affiliate marketing, partnership marketing, or a related field.
• Experience building, executing and scaling marketing programs across multiple international markets.
• 4 years of experience managing multi-million dollar (>$10MM annual) paid media budgets.
• 4 years of experience using affiliate marketplaces such as Impact.com
• 4 years of experience in advanced fraud detection mechanisms and tools to drive high quality user acquisition from affiliates
• 3 years experience with modern BI tools like Tableau, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or Amazon Quick Sight
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to work with large data sets.
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with a natural curiosity to measure, test, learn and iterate in order to get the best results possible.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills to drive recommendations, articulate tradeoffs and communicate plans to senior executives.
