We are looking for an experienced Paid Media Lead to own a multi-million dollar global budget with a strategic focus on driving growth and awareness for Amazon Music. In this role, you will bring a performance-driven approach to building highly impactful upper funnel campaigns across the full funnel, testing into white space opportunities while maintaining rigorous measurement and optimization standards. You will define, execute, and measure Paid Media marketing from strategy to execution, including hands-on campaign management, testing, and developing scalable processes with agencies to drive measurable business growth.
As a full-funnel media expert, you will own media mix strategy and optimization with a strong focus on improving both 1P and 3P measurement capabilities. You'll develop a comprehensive playbook for upper funnel paid media activity that balances brand-building objectives with performance accountability. An entrepreneurial spirit, a data-driven mindset for pushing boundaries, and the ability to work effectively with a large number of partners and international stakeholders are essential for success in this role.
Key job responsibilities
• Manage a multi-million dollar global media budget to drive awareness and adoption of Amazon Music with clear performance KPIs
• Develop and execute campaigns across digital and traditional media channels including Social, Video, Audio, Programmatic, Out of Home, and emerging platforms
• Own media mix planning and targeting strategy to continuously improve efficiency, reach, and ROI across all channels
• Develop and refine frameworks for measuring brand campaign performance, including upper-funnel metrics (awareness, consideration) and their impact on lower-funnel outcomes
• Test and learn across channels, audiences, and creative approaches to build a scalable playbook for brand media investment
• Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, content, and brand teams to ensure cohesive messaging and brand positioning
• Manage relationships with media agencies and vendors to ensure flawless campaign execution
• Contribute to GTM (go-to-market) plans and collaborate with stakeholder teams for full-funnel alignment for major programs (Amazon Music Live, Prime Day, Amazon Music Thursday Night Football, etc.)
• Communicate campaign performance and insights to leadership with clear recommendations for optimization
Qualifications
• 4 years of professional non-internship marketing experience
• Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
• Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
• Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams
• Experience delivering paid media campaigns spanning TV, print ads and digital/social channels
