Full Job Description
Production Manager, Amazon MGM Studios, Culver City, CA.
Amazon MGM Studios is seeking a Production Manager to support original film productions globally. This role works closely with studio executives to oversee projects from development through post-production, ensuring budgets, schedules, and production plans are aligned and effectively managed.
Responsibilities include collaborating with producers and creative executives to assess budgets, production plans, schedules, and associated risks; partnering with internal teams such as finance, post-production, VFX, music, casting, and Business Affairs to develop and manage budgets and schedules; traveling to set as needed to evaluate workflows, budgets, and potential challenges; analyzing budgets and cost reports; and acting as a liaison between the studio and production teams.
Additional responsibilities include managing cross-departmental meetings to ensure consistent policy implementation, editing and maintaining the Production Manual, assisting in hiring executive producers, UPMs, and key department heads, creating and maintaining departmental documents, overseeing wrap delivery for global productions, and managing additional photography or reshoot requirements.
