Sr. Technical Designer, New World
We are looking for a Sr. Technical designer to join the AI and Combat teams on New World. New World is an Open World MMO that pits players against the haunted wilderness of Aeternum, a mysterious island in the twilight of the Age of Exploration.
As a Sr. Technical Designer focused on gameplay you will write and optimize script code for player and AI entities and debug and fixes issues from the live game. You will have a strong blend of gameplay design expertise (especially with animation driven combat) and strong technical expertise.
Key job responsibilities
• Write script code for various gameplay elements
• Debug and fix gameplay issues
• Work with the tech and tools team to improve our workflows and pipelines

Qualifications
• 5 years of Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
• Expertise with a scripting language (lua, C#, etc.)
• Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Years of Industry Experience
