How do I hire a VR Nuke Artist? AmazeVR is currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Nuke Artist to join our creative team in West Hollywood. We are looking for an artist with experience in stereoscopic 360 VR content, and able to work alongside our creative team and other leads to deliver high-quality VFX work for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Build VFX pipeline for creating stereoscopic VR
- Train and support in-house team members to implement NukeX into the workflow
- Attend shoots as the on-site VFX advisor
- Integrate 2D, 3D and live action elements to the highest standard
- Create meeting schedules and manage project deadlines
Requirements:
- A solid reel demonstrating a wide range of shots and a creative eye
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Animation, Computer Graphics, Visual Effects or a related field of study
Essential Skills:
- An excellent working knowledge of and at least four (4) years production experience with NukeX in commercials and/or film projects
- Experience in stereoscopic VR composition and Matchmove using CaraVR, NukeX
- Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong eye for detail, composition, color and lighting
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of practical lighting for photography
- A working knowledge of the overall VFX pipeline
- Programming and coding experience using Python is a plus
- Experience using PFTrack or SynthEyes is a plus
