Intern - Script Reader

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Internship Start Date/Season: Feb 4th 2025
Internship Duration: 12 weeks
Time/Days Required: 1 meeting per week, Tuesdays 2:30pm-3:30pm PT
Workplace Requirements: Remote

ALTA GLOBAL MEDIA is looking for a small group of skilled, remote script readers. Our session begins on April 16th with a duration of 12 weeks.??The Script Reader will be responsible for reading and analyzing scripts and writing coverage. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain literary experience and be actively involved in various aspects of the development/production process.??Love of reading, ability to analyze and articulate your thoughts on a script, familiarity with screenplays, and obsession with tv/film is a must.??

What You'll Do:?
-Read a variety of scripts
-Review films and provide coverage in a quick and timely manner
-Sometimes do light research
-We will have a weekly group Zoom meeting to discuss scripts.??

What You'll Need:?
-Friendly and respectful demeanor?
-Professional communication skills both written and verbal
-Strong attention to detail
-High level of familiarity with screenplays preferred.??

School credit is available. One guest speaker session at the end of the internship to advise on interns' career goals.
