This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
Internship Start Date/Season: October 22nd
Internship Duration: 12 weeks
Time/Days Required: 1 meeting per week, Tuesdays 2:30pm-3:30pm PT
Workplace Requirements: Remote
ALTA GLOBAL MEDIA is looking for a small group of skilled, remote script readers. Our session begins on April 16th with a duration of 12 weeks.
The Script Reader will be responsible for reading and analyzing scripts and writing coverage. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain literary experience and be actively involved in various aspects of the development/production process.
Love of reading, ability to analyze and articulate your thoughts on a script, familiarity with screenplays, and obsession with tv/film is a must.
What You'll Do:
• Read a variety of scripts,
• Review films and provide coverage in a quick and timely manner,
• Sometimes do light research.
• We will have a weekly group Zoom meeting to discuss scripts.
What You'll Need:
• Friendly and respectful demeanor
• Professional communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail.
• High level of familiarity with screenplays preferred.
The internship will feature at least one guest speaker. School credit is available. One on one career session at the end of the internship to advise on interns' career goals.
