Alta Global Media is a boutique firm which provides management, production, marketing and public relations for a select clientele consisting of international talent and production companies. Operating under this banner are the Oscar qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival and it's companion production company 88th Street.
We are looking for a CREATIVE EXECUTIVE This role will be responsible for collaborating with three divisions within the organization: Alta Global Media, HollyShorts Film Festival and 88th Street Productions to assist with consistently developing premium content. Alta Global Media represents international content companies & artists who self produce, the Oscar qualifying HollyShorts receives over 6000 submissions anually which you will be mining for new projects, talent & directors to feed into 88th Street Productions. The 88th Street mandate is to move these projects through development, adding appropriate talent and navigating the agency, studio and network systems.
The individual in this role must have a desire to elevate the quality of material throughout the development and production process from ideation to creation. The successful candidate should be a self-motivated, complex problem solver and team player who understands the consistently changing mandates of major studios and financiers.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create and maintain strong agency relationships and a strong network of talent with directors and writers, both domestically and internationally Support the various projects on the slate Ability to relay creative notes to writers, directors, and other executives on a variety of projects Build rapport and maintain relationships with domestic and international production companies and studios in various global markets Solicit appropriate development projects and evaluate new submissions, providing detailed coverage and/or script notes as needed Identify and secure new talent for projects in development Ensure that a consistently high level of quality is achieved and maintained on all creative fronts Leverage existing relationships within entertainment industry and emerging digital distribution platforms to help distribution efforts Sources possible materials books, stories and scripts for consideration in future film projects Build, develop and implement long term strategies for film & TV division to endure continued growth Provide research and analysis upon request on film entertainment industry, marketing and development trends, etc. Track and report the successful progression of development projects Ensure the vision of our film & TV content aligns with the company-wide goals Maintain a strong awareness of emerging talent from Global festivals.
At least 5 years of related experience within the film Industry Bachelor's degree in film or literature preferred. Fluency in a second language is a plus. A strong understanding of both established and new trends within the feature film industry Consistently track both established and upcoming writers and directors in the feature space Must have proficient knowledge in regard to the ever-changing mandates of major studio's and various investors Responsible for managing an expansive network within agencies, management companies, financiers, studios and other production companies. Must understand both the publishing/literary world and maintain relationships with peers within the respective industries The ability to source scripts, books, articles and other IP that would fit within our overall brand
